Information for English speaking visitors

I also offer my psychotherapeutic skills in English.

About psychotherapy

I am specialized in psychodynamic short- and longterm psychotherapy (Jungian Therapy).

Typical indicators are, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, reactions to severe stress (including post-traumatic stress disorder), adjustment disorders, psychosomatic and somatoform disorders and personality disorders.

About the process

In an intial telephone conversation, we will discuss your concerns and potential questions you may have. We will then set a date for a follow-up consultation appointment in my practice. During the first appointment I will conduct a more in-depth diagnostic evaluation of your situation.

The purpose of this consultation appointment is twofold:

  1. First and foremost, it is to assess if psychotherapy is actually the right treatment for you, and if the therapy method and techniques could work for you.
  2. Second, and most importantly, we will both decide if we feel we can work together.
  • In the event of a negative outcome to either of these two questions, we will also look into alternatives that might suit your needs more adequately.
  • In case of a positive decision for the outlined therapy, we will clarify all necessary formalities, which differ depending on your health insurance status.

General information

Before a therapy treatment plan officially begins, you have several sessions in addition to the first appointment, that provide an opportunity for us to get to know each other, for me to gather further information on the presented maladies, and for you to make an informed decision about the proposed therapy.

Psychotherapy sessions take place in my practice. Depending on the specific requirements of an individual, it is also possible to conduct remote video sessions.
